The study subgroup of Nephrology and Leishmaniasis has been arranged. In this subgroup are included Dr. Andrea Zatelli and Dr. Xavier Roura as chairman. To this study subgroup have been invited Prof. Michael Day, Prof. Oscar Cortadellas and Dr. Silvia Benali and they accepted becoming honorary members of CLWG.
With great sadness, the members of the Scientific Cultural Association of Canine Leishmaniasis Working Group announce the passing of their esteemed colleague Michele Maroli, who passed away last September 7th.
Dr. Maroli, as a former Research Director at the Italian National Institute of Health, had been a member of the Association since its establishment in November 2005, distinguishing himself through his professionalism, dedication, and humanity. His presence left an indelible mark on all of us, and his memory will always remain alive.
